Day 2 (reflection)

By being exposed to the streets of Washington DC we got to engage with people on a relaxed scale where people truly speak about what they really think about South Africa. And their own country’s which i feel goes a long as this people really freestyle and are not necessarily suppose to speak in a certain way based on their position.  on our way we met an African American guy who posed a question asking us why is Mrs South Africa, white  whilst they are more  bath black people in Africa, this question brought memories of 2010 when someone asked him how do we(black South Africans ) feel  about the Ms SA was white. He was raising a very racial topical though I introduced to the setting.  Out of that i was i learned how to deal and ask controversial programme.

 The south African ambassador  who touched upon  many important topics with regard to leadership, a and Simon also explained to us about the project of branding that he was busy with, which seeks to teach Americans how implement the spirit of Ubuntu in America. In Ibrahim Rasool speech I was touched by how emphasised the point that we should leave up to the South Africa that Nelson Mandela and FW DeKlerk Stood up to while noticing that we should be aware that the tallest pine tree gets the most wind. The will forever be questioning raised on our wrong/ faults but not as much would be emphasised by the media about the good deeds of leaders.
